Artist biography:
This photograph was taken as a creative collaboration between Annie Lennox and Allan Martin.
The image was used for the front cover of the 2003 album by Annie Lennox- 'Bare'. An exhibition of thirty images from the series was shown in a New York gallery for one night only. Nothing was available for sale.
This print was approved for the New York exhibition and is effectively, an artist's proof. No edition has been produced up to this point.
It will be the first print ever to be sold from that series and is therefore unique.
Lennox shot to fame in the 1980s with the Eurythmics and has since become a successful solo artist, selling more than 80 million records. She is renowned for her charity work with organisations such as Amnesty International, Greenpeace, and Nelson Mandela's 46664 Foundation.
