Born in Johannesburg in 1962
Studied Fine Art at Byam Shaw in London (1985-87)

In his third year he studied printmaking, sculpture and image painting. Beezy has continued to be a full time artist since then, working in the fields of performance art, sculpture, wood and bronze carving , printmaking, drawing and painting.
Beezy is based in Cape Town, but exhibits all over the world and has work in collections such as the South African National Gallery and numerous important private collections. Bailey has exhibited in the Cuban and Prague Biennales and at the Bochum Museum in Germany.
In 2002 and 2004, Beezy organised the 'Art for Aids Orphans' auctions in Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively. Beezy is represented by the Everard Read Gallery in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
